* Stirling is our default start/pick up and drop off/end of tour location is, as this is close to where we are based

* if this special tour does travel past/through/near to other places, we are happy to pick you along/near to places along the way

* On the longer special 2, 3 days & longer tours (we have 7 days Shetland, 4 days Harris & Lewis), etc. tours, if due to the timings and limited transport options out of Edinburgh, Glasgow, locations across the Scottish Central belt, including Dundee & St. Andrews you will otherwise struggle to join our tours, we will of course be happy to pick you up from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, etc.

* such as meeting you at the airport/ferry port on our Shetland, Outer Hebrides & Orkney tours etc

* to opt out of the return journey, i.e. to stay longer up north or on the islands & make your own way back

* to meet you on the islands/up north & you join us on our southbound journey back to the Scottish Central belt

* on our multi-day tours just to join us for part of the tour duration – for example to join a 5 day tour on only 4, 3, 2 or 1 days(as due to other commitments you may not be available on the start or end day of the tour)

* on our multi-day islands based tours to take a day out to have a free day and do your own thing – relax, chill out by a beach, take an 8 seater inter-islander plane to some of the smaller Orkney & Shetland isles – to pursue your own hobby & interest – local horse-riding, climbing, wildlife watching boat trip, etc. while the rest of the group continues the tour & explores many more places on that day
