Tour itinerary
Day 1
- Spectacular journey to Oban
- 19th July 2026 – dep. Oban 13.30 pm – arr. Castlebay/Barra 18.15 pm = per person passenger fare £19.70 = stunning sailing through the Sound of Mull, past Lismore lighthouse, Duart castle, Tobermory, Ardnamurchan lighthouse and through the Minch with a high chance to see whales, dolphins and seabirds
Day 2:
free day to be able to enjoy the glorious beaches of Barra & Vatersay, go walking, cycling, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding (there are local hire options)
or the opton to join a boat trip to Mingulay
Day 3:
free day to be able to enjoy the glorious beaches of Barra & Vatersay, go walking, cycling, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding (there are local hire options)
or the opton to join a boat trip to Mingulay (back in Barra at 3pm)

£59 per person as only day 1 is a tour day and day 2 and day 3 are "free days" on Barra

The peak summer 3 day tour price is £171.
As however day 2 on Barra & day 3 on Barra are free days

on the west side of Barra it is generally not too steep, but the east side of Barra is very steep (also great for a hill walk, sometimes you get the most amazing views from there over to the Westcoast of the Scottish mainland and the other Hebridean Isles)
and the hill over to the causeway to Vatersay is steep,
so an ebike would be better
