Sample route:
- Dep. 9 am University of Stirling – Luss/Loch Lomond arr. 10 am
- Walking tour – Luss beach, pier with stunning views (of Loch Lomond, Ben Lomond & across to the islands & Eastern shores of the West Highlands Way), Colquhoun clan centre, Luss church & cemetery, the Viking hogback stone, the pilgrimage & fairy trail and/or free time
- 11 am Luss/Loch Lomond departure for for Loch Lomond southside photostop
Loch Lomond beach walk along the West Highland Way or free time in Balmaha
Lunch / free time in Aberfoyle in the Trossachs
Scenic Duke’s pass route through the Queen Elizabeth forest park to Loch Katrine for a loch side nature walk or free time
on a sunny beautiful day, if the group wants to
there is the option to walk all the way to Brenachoile point at Loch Katrine
Via Loch Venachar, Kilmahog and Callander back to the University of Stirling sometime after 5 pm
